There is quite a bit of work that goes into overnight shipping. First of all, it involves different types of transportation, such as ground and air. Because of the various transportation methods and the speed of delivery, the cost of overnight delivery is higher than normal delivery that can take 3 to 5 days.

As for how many people are involved in overnight shipping, it simply depends on how many individuals are working within a facility. It is fair to say, however, that there is the person who accepts the package for shipping, a staff that processes and loads the package onto the truck, and someone to drive the truck. If the package must be sent via air, the package is taken to an airport where it is unloaded from the truck, entered into the computer system, and is then loaded onto the plane. You then have someone who must fly the plane to the new destination where it will once again be entered into the system and be placed upon another plane or another truck. Again, it is driven or flown to another destination and taken to another facility where it is scanned into the system. From here, it is usually placed upon the truck that will deliver it. That means there is a driver who is also the same person to deliver the package.

Here are some other aspects that may require even more staff to process the package:

Packages must be separated into lightweight and heavyweight packages. It takes a team of individuals to do this. This way the packages can be loaded appropriately on the truck. More than one person may be needed for delivery when it comes to heavy packages. If the packages are light, then only one person may be needed. But you will find that many delivery trucks do have two people. If so, you know that something heavy is on that truck.

Then again, depending on the company, they may have a skeleton staff operating on these holidays so that the wheels of delivery can keep turning. This ensures that there are no delays in the entire shipping process. The slightest delay can cause the entire system to be delayed.

So the next time you send a package, think of how many hands that package moves through. There are individuals loading and unloading trucks, loading and unloading airplanes, driving trucks, and flying airplanes. There are individuals asking questions, using scanners to scan the items in, and delivering the packages. It is quite a process. And what is amazing is that the package arrives at its destination intact. All those hands and the package remains in tip top shape. That in itself is rather amazing. Considering how fast things move, the whole process is rather amazing.

My Interesting Experience With Plastic Posters

My experiences with plastic posters have always been unique and interesting ones. 8 Great Reasons Why I Have To Start A Work At Home Business

Many of my friends have asked me why I have to bother doing work from home business at the time when I was still practicing my specialty as orthopedic surgeon. "You are making a significant income in your practice, wny bother with online business working from home?"

I understand why they asked me that above question. After all, they know that I am earning well, and if they compare the gross income of someone who is not an orthopedic surgeon, with what i used to earn, they are justified in asking that question.

What they did not know is the realities of my practice as orthopedic surgeon. Let me give you a brief overview of my day. I leave the house in the morning before 6:00 A.M. to be in the operating room at 7:00 A.M. I do my work at the operating room the whole morning, sometimes up to 1:00 P.M. In between my operative schedule, I make rounds-- see my patients in the hospital if I have a chance.

Shortly after 1:00P.M. I rush to My Office to see patients up to 5:00 P.M.
Then I go to the hospitals to finish my rounds -- seeing my hospitalized patients. I usually finish about 9:00 P.M. and ready to drive home, and arrive home at about 1):00 P.M. This is possible if I do not have an emergency surgery which requires my going back to the operating room.

Usually when I arrive home, my children are already asleep. My wife is just glad that I arrive home safe after my hard day's work. When I leave the house the next morning, my children are still asleep.

I don't blame that none of my four children ever wanted to be a physician, or an orthopedic surgeon. They all pursued and finished their education , all related to business or business management.

Then let me touch briefly about the "great gross income" that I generated in my private practice.The gross income is significant, but the take-home fee is not that great.

Let me explain. Make a calculation. Granting that I earn an average gross income of $600,000 a year. One third of that ($200.000) goes to over-head expenses. Out of the $400,000 that's left, about one half of that goes to income tax. So out the the $200,000 that's left, I have to pay my mortgage, cars, and insurance, life insurance and a lifestyle of an orthopedic surgeon's family.

And the truth is, because I am self-employed, I am exchanging time for dollars, and I could not leverage my time. As an expert in Arthroscopic Surgery of the Knee, I have taught many of my colleagues in my city, and as soon as they learned how to do the procedure, they became my competitors.

So what I explained above would give you an idea why I was looking for a home-based business that could give me a leveraged income. This is true to any person that works for a salary. And we are paid when we are actually working, but if we are not working, our salary stops.( minus the earned vacation days that you have from your company).

7. No more Putting Up with Co-Employees that you don't like. No more dealing with co-workers that waste your time because of their inefficiency at their owsn job assignments.

8. No More Dealing with Clients that get on your nerve. Whenever you are dealing with people, you meet different personalities. There are people you welcome to see you but there are those that you wished they did not come, because of their behaviour that you do not want to deal with.

9. Your Income Is Unlimited. In a good home based business that provides you good residual income,sometimes multiple streams of , your income is unlimited. There is no limit to your creativeness.
